When can we start to panic?

....20 points at Xmas is always a good indicator that you wont be involved at the bottom. Personally, I think we have too much goal scoring ammunition. Its a really strange season, others are struggling too and I still think we'll be in and around the top 6.
Everyone is beating everyone else. You can't use a points total as a prediction, not this season anyway. I reckon a few teams will stay up on sub-40 points.

I'm not buying the idea that so long as we finish 17th or higher, the panic is avoided. We were within a whisker of 4th last season. Now folk are saying 17th would be acceptable?

Our progression as a top/2nd tier club is seriously under threat right now. The panic is real.
No way it is acceptable. We should at the very least make the top 7. People are talking about relegation here though. Not prepared to panic over that. As said, majorly dissapointed and also extremely annoyed by how our season is working out.

Folk on here are saying 'no I won't panic...there are three worse clubs than us' that says to me that even if we finish 17th there is still no need to panic. Mental.

We should not be panicking right now, but there should be some seriously furrowed brows. Concern. Proper concern.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but if we fail to beat QPR convincingly on Monday then I really think alarm bells should be ringing.
We really need some momentum and belief, we are playing without any confidence.

Your right on the confidence front, and you can throw in players playing whilst not being fit, players playing who need to be rested but can't because we are too stretched in certain areas into the mix. Luckily we now have a nice break up until Monday whilst we can use Thursday to give the likes of Garbutt, Oviedo, Ledson, Browning and Kone and Alcaraz some much needed game time as they will all be getting used over the Christmas period.

Keep the faith, we will turn the corner in the league and get the players back into fitness and form.

It's hopeless lads. Martinez doesn't know what he's doing. Our players don't know how to play. There isn't enough games left in the season to gain points from. I only hope Kenwright lowers ticket prices down to championship levels next season otherwise the stadium will be empty and we'll get relegated to league 1.

So there's 3 worse teams than us? I'm struggling to name them. Our performances have generally been every bit as bad as the current bottom 3 and others down there. For example, I watched the highlights of CP at Spurs. CP -- apparently a lousy club playing under a dinosaur manager -- created chance after chance through honest, fast, purposeful football. A week earlier we'd played there and had 2 real efforts on goal.

So are you saying that both us and Spurs are getting relegated?

I can name three worse teams easy: the UKIP, Tories and BNP.
