What's the situation with Gueye ?

He is awesome on FM!
I think he should be given more game time, but I wouldn't play him over Roy.

In FM2011 I'd trained him up and he was boss, the natural heir to Saha. Then Lyon offer £9m (keeping in mind he's worth £6m) and Bill accepts it without giving me any choice. I fumed and deleted that season. Not really played FM either since.

He's obviously not ready to play/isn't working hard enough in training/doesn't track back enough/doesn't have the experience/legs will snap if he plays in the first team.

He gets better and better, one of the best players in the country by 2013. You were correct to fume.

Yeah, the same happened to me except he got sold to Bayern Munich for £12 million. I had an injury crisis and he was my only fit striker in the 1st team. Had to look towards Conor McAleny and Joao Silva up front afterwards.

What's even worse is that Blue Bill sold Rodwell behind my back for £20 million to Bayern Munich as well so I had a very thread bare squad for a month.

Staying on topic though, I thought Gueye looked pretty bright today in some spots. He still has a while to go, but he made some pretty nice passes.
