24 goals in 13 games, very happy with that.

Slight worry is the 16 conceded but after last season's mayhem (wasn't it 39 at the half way stage or something terrifying) we are seeing improvement

Ten of those goals have come in two matches against the bottom two teams, I'm happy with the current form, let's keep this form up against better teams.

....Charlie Adam is the guest on Goals on Sunday and was asked about Everton's prospect this season. He says we are in the same place as Stoke, not top 4 challengers and "content with a top 10 finish".

Feeling pretty good. Still think top 4 is beyond us, but a cup and top 6 would make me the happiest man alive.

Second happiest

Knowing Everton we'll go on an amazing run which will propel us forward, before slipping up late on against some absolute banana skin of a team.

Based on that, top six should be realistic aim right now as I do not think we're consistent enough to be considering Champions League as of yet.

On the other hand though, if we'd been more clinical at times then you could justifiably say we should already be near the top four this season.

Top four is as open as it has ever been. Chelsea are starting the race a good few meters back from everyone else. Leicester will drop off over their next eight games. United aren't consistent, Spurs are Spurs, the RS are the RS. Arsenal will get one of the spaces, City will get another. The rest, we have as good as chance as anyone.
