Player Valuation: £1m
Regarding bringing in new players, we have got Beckford, Silva and Mucha on free transfers which although yet no cash has been spent also remembering that Tim Cahill and jack Rodwell have signed new long term contracts. Its better that things are happening compared to the last 2 seasons where we have left everything very late. So that is good however....

Pienaars future remains very doubtful, considering he hasnt had a great world cup that will probably take his value down, get arteta tied down to a new contract, pienaar can be replaced whereas arteta cant he is more important despite the season pienaar had for us i dont think it would be the end of the world if we sold him now.

I personally would look into removing the dead wood of the squad the likes of Yobo, Turner, Nash, Ruddy etc to free up the wage budget and a bit of money to bring in players in key areas like Donovan

I think we did pay for Silva, an 'undisclosed fee' I believe.

We should keep hold of all our key players, which means giving Pienaar a new contract. Yobo, Turner and Ruddy can all go, and possibly the Yak.

I think Pienaar staying/going determines our signings this summer.

I reckon we've got a little stash but obviously we will be crying poverty in public to give us a chance of ripping someone off.

Pienaar can be replaced...for over 10-15M if you want something comparable on a new 5 year deal.

I'd rather we re-sign him and move on.

He was arguably our player of the season last term (with Heitinga) and you really don't want to be losing your top players.

I would go a centre back or a defensive midfeilder - depending on where Davey wants Jonny H.

Another winger inclusive of Pienaar - Zog me up Davey!

cover central defender and a wide player, dependent on pienaar doing one are musts.

if we do offload yakubu then the golden boot in the world cup will do. the swankier the name the better.

Back up left back, hopefully be able to tie Pienaar down on a new contract and sign a new right sided player. Keep the rest of our squad together and barring injuries, I have very high hopes for the new season. Also expect big things from Bilyaletdinov next term.

i don`t think pienaars failure to be the star player of the WC will devalue him, we just need proper £££s for him before august if he fails to sign. i`m happy as we are now because the return of injured players is like 5 new signings anyway. i want pienaar to stay and we need donovan to join us sometime soon. i think moyes will surprise us by bringing in maybe 2 more in the sneaky way he does- like loans or for free

Agree with all said above, and along with BB about bringing in wingers, centre mid is chocka, back up CB. if WE keep Pienaar, then I expect BIG things from us this season, never been so optimistic! (y)

And Otto Renhagel as a new assistant for David Moyes, teaching how to properly play 5-4-1 or 6-3-1, to utilize all this defensive minded players.

Will be happy with re-signing Pienaar and having proper pre-season. Back-up left back and somebody with pace, to play at wing positions would be a nice additions.

Not exactly sure what to do, if we would lose Pienaar.

Personally would gladly sell Yobo and use this 4-5 milions wisely, but not sure if it's gonna happen.
