what kind of contract does he have?

good player but always out of action...
Team would surely need a quality striker!
 

Was a very good striker, but is now 33 and picking up injuries like no tomorrow, he's done. I'm not sure what kind of contract he is on, but if its not pay as you play expect him to leave shortly to create a fierce Championship strikeforce of Campbell, Beckford, Bothroyd and Anichebe.

He was excellent in the latter part of this season, and I think he's worth having for the collective half-season in which he's available. Remember he's got a 1 in 3 ratio for us, both in the league and all comps, which is decent.

He's always picked up injuries, and that's why he left United and we were able to sign him. I don't see why he's "done" all of a sudden.
 
yes, good player, but i quess everton cant lean to him. beckford isnt enough (although he had good season)...so...conclution---> new reinforcement needed
 

We need a top class striker, Saha is decent off the bench, as is Beckford, but they should be second and third choices respectively. I'll be very surprised if we get one mind.
 
We won't have the money to buy anyone really good unless we sell up someone like Rodwell or Baines :'(

To be where we want to be, to achieve what we want to achieve (though some insist we'll achieve it whether or not we buy anyone, coz We Are Ebepton) we need at least one striker capable of leading the line and scoring 15-20 goals a season.
 

Really need to look at the Saha sitution - as classy a player as he is the cost/benifit of time on the pitch really needs to be evaluated, 65k is a lot of money for us sitting in the treatment room.

I agree. If we're going to get anything back on him, he needs to go this summer. It depends if there are any offers on the table really.

Yeah, I remember working it out earlier in the season that he'd cost us something mental (like £2 - £3 million) in wages since his last goal for us at the time. That was during the 11 months or whatever he didn't score, but you get the picture. If he's not firing, then he's burning a real hole in our pockets for nought in return.
