What would you take from the next 4 games

i would take that all day with the way we are playing and the players out. I imagine DCL will be back for Friday and maybe Allan but I half expect James to miss Friday’s game after the minutes he did last night

Id be disappointed if we dont get 8pts...

My feeling is that Ancelotti will get the 3pts against Spurs and then we draw with Arsenal...draw with Villa and beat West Ham.

After last night I am sure we are all deflated, annoyed or just mirroring the lack of energy shown by the team.

However, the next four games do give us the opportunity to correct the failings of recent weeks purely because we are playing the teams around us.

Friday 16 April - Home to Spurs
Friday 23 April - Away at Arsenal
Sat 1 May - Home to Villa
Sat 8 May - Away to West Ham

Obviously the last two dates may change with TV schedules but what would you all take from those bearing in mind how we looked last night?

I have two views on it which are that I think we will get about 4 points but I'd be happy with 7 as it still keeps Europe alive. I think anything less and Europe is definitely gone unless results go massively for us again which they have done a fair bit this year.
What would I take from it?
I take it that this season is a dead rubber and anything positive we get from it is too little too late...I'll not turn good things down mind, but in the grand scheme of things???

I love the fact you still have that classic Evertonian optimism even after last night. I’d be very surprised if we beat Spurs personally but you never know.

1 game, just one, where we play open attacking football and win by 2/3 clear goals, so we can just sit back and enjoy it with no stress or moaning and just say to each other “Good game”. I can dream can’t I.

Beat Arsenal away as a minimum, least then when the season is a failure we can look back and say we finally won at some away grounds we hadn't bothered to win at in yonks (Spurs, RS, and er the others).

Honestly we need to win 4 on the spin if we've any hope of getting top 7. 64 points I think will be the benchmark, so 6 wins out of the last 8. Looks unlikely.

I just want to enjoy football again, watching some entertaining stuff.
