What would you do to change the situation on the pitch ?

Play a team full of kids for the next game and make the useless feckers sit in the stands and watch......

Check.
Also, when you are 3 down, you blow up with 3 young, hungry subs and go for broke (Gueye, Vellios, Drenthe, Barkley). Make a run at the game OR lose by 6 but at least go for it [self edited to stay within forum guidelines].

I would give Moyes a course of ECT, happy pills, force him to take up drink, and generally stop him being a morose ****.

Other than the fans who go to clap heads on screens, this sterile anti football being served up will drive many away.

All stop getting so excitable and realise that we have played city away Liverpool (with ten men) and Chelsea away in the last 3 games and whatever team we had put out would probably have lost! These ain't the games to judge us or moyes selections on this year!

It isn't getting beat by these teams that everybody has had enough of, its the way we play. its just crap. we are probably the most boring side in the prem.

gates r down by 5 to 6 thousand and were only in october nelly.spoke to a good mate of mine this morning who follows brighton home and away every week ,he asked me how the hell do i putup with watching that every week ,i could not answer him .10 years hes been in charge its his team ,and all were classed as is a dour hard working honest team after 10 years its time to go ,
sad part is we cant afford to sack him. 1 more thing i think the way hes handled young barkley since the pen at blackburn has been typical moyes fuken joke,1st game of the season it was ross v qpr we were all drooling over the kid ,1 mistake end of .pity he does not treat osman jags hibbert cahill like this.

True, I worry about the way he's treating Barkley and how it's gonna play when Ross has to think whether to sign that new contract or accept the various inducements on offer from Man U, Chelsea, City etc.

I think it's time for a bit of a make over of the team as even not counting these last 3 games we haven't exactly been the most attractive footballing side. I think it's time to slot Coleman in at rightback, let him breathe when needed but it's time. Neville is just to slow and doesn't really offer much aside from the hyped leadership skills and Hibbert after some stellar crosses (which now, in hindsight, look a lot more like one-offs) in the first few games has looked out of his depth at the better teams. I wouldn't play Barkley on the right though as this would unbalance the hell out of the team with two unproven cards with below-par defending skills at the moment. I would play Drenthe here who has the pace to cover and is a more complete player, and he would move onto his left and (hopefully) give Coleman space down the right for Baines-esque overlaps. We would then of course need a defensive mid who always has an eye on the fullback positions and can slot in if we are caught out on the counter. Sadly neither of Fellaini or Rodwell can do this at the moment. The only player who has proven able to do this is Nev.. But I'd really not want to play him as a really deep holding midfielder if there's even one alternative.
If we're playing Coleman at RB then I think we need someone with defensive qualities in front, and for me the only name, there then is Drenthe. Who then to play down the left, in front of Baines? If we're playing a flat 4-4-2 then I would have Osman here as first choice more games than one, and then alternate in Gueye and Bily.

Heitinga needs more games, especially as Jags is playing the way he is. There's no pressure on, and no cost for making costly mistakes. This should have been done a few times just to refresh the squad a bit and give Johnny a run in.

I'd change it to a 4-4-2 at times, but that would unbalance our team a bit imho with both Baines and Coleman at fullback, so we'd need to switch the personnel around a bit. Vellios and Saha look able to form a decent enough forward pairing but who do we then play in midfield? Keep going with Rods and Fellaini? I'm not sure that gives us enough support for the front two, and it kind of makes half our midfield surplus (Cahill, Osman, Bily and Barkley).
I'd let Vellios rotate with Cahill and Straq (though the latter mainly as a sub ) at times and maybe sub Gueye in here at times as well.

As a whole though, I think it's time Moyes gets a lot more active on the sidelines. Everbody knows we have a small squad, but it's not small enough to justify not switching the team around when we are playing crud, or when our current set up gets us nothing but hoof-ball at a one man strike-force (who I'm pretty sure isn't even meant to be a lone striker). We seem to have a whole team of impact subs when you look at it so why are we waiting until the 75th minute to make them??!

It's not surprising the attendance was lower after we got beaten 1-0 by QPR. Regardless that's not the point, we're nowhere near 5000 down on average.

I don't think getting beat by QPR is the problem, people are just fed up with our style of play. Its Boring.
