One weeks wages out there could do me for about 4-5 years. Think he could take a tax hit and still survive comfortably. Suppose it's about whether he is done with competitive football and internationals or not.

If I could delve into the past to make up for my knowledge of the game outside Everton, I'd say we need a Jimmy Greaves type. Someone who can be in the right place at the right time to put the ball in the net. It would also help if he was a big lad so Pickford could punt the ball at him. I am sure given those directions one of you can then tell us all who we need.

Greaves was a monster, a very thick set chap that could move a bit. Scoring records like his don't happen by chance, he was a real villain.

My grandad's favourite player, used to watch the Jimmy Greaves story on vhs with him all the time.

Always remember him saying about him that the ball didn't hit the net most of the time, he just passed it in.
