Came on here to say Zirkzee. I think he'd suit us down to the ground. Excellent link-up player who'll give us another dimension. Reckon he'd jump at the chance for at least a loan in January.I see we're linked with Zirkzee from Man Utd, might be a decent signing
He's out of favour so I've no doubt he'd be happy to join most likely on a loan to buy deal. He's not prolific and more of a link striker but that could be ideal for us with having Grealish and Iliman playing off himCame on here to say Zirkzee. I think he'd suit us down to the ground. Sorry mate , I know it's all about opinions but I think Zitkzee is exactly the type of striker we should avoid.Zirkzee looks a decent footballer on clips I've seen of him, deceptively quick and exceptionally calm at slotting. Send Barry out on loan to get minutes. Put Zirkzee in.
We’ll probably sign his brother AnalJonas Wind on loan...
We would find it far easier too find a striker if we stopped with this archaic hold the ball up nonsense, majority of modern day players just are not coached in this style of the game anymore.Sorry mate , I know it's all about opinions but I think Zitkzee is exactly the type of striker we should avoid.
1. He's a 10 not a 9
2. Despite his size he can't head the ball
3. He is incapable of playing with his back to goal.
We need an out and out 9 who can hold the ball up and get on the end of things in the box.
That ain't Zirkzee
I think Ivan Toney would be perfect for us, I know he has issues, I know he is earning zillions a week, but if he fancies having finishing his career back in the prem, he would do me.
It's how Moyes likes to play.We would find it far easier too find a striker if we stopped with this archaic hold the ball up nonsense, majority of modern day players just are not coached in this style of the game anymore.
Hence why he always struggles with strikers. Modern day strikers want the ball in front of them or at feet, they don't want it at chest height. I do agree with what you are saying and tbh Moyes system is never going to get the best out of any striker no matter who that is as that is not what his methodology is about, I think he is more focused on the midfield/area in behind the striker tbh. It's how Moyes likes to play.
Personally I'd have N'dayie at CF and have a fluid front 3 but Moyes has always had a physical CF.
He's been seduced by the Dark Lord Sauron. Steer well clear. He's not really a striker, more a sort of Jack Harrison workhorse out wide.
Isidor is one who should be realistic if Sunderland go back down. He's shown already he has something for the top level and can improve further in the coming seasons.
