Too late mate the Americans have changed it , and of course they are always rightIt's maths, as in mathematics. It is not 'math'.
People who walk around with t shirt shorts and flip flops when it's freezing.People who walk around shirtless in public at any hint of summer weather.
They need a little educating. The next 3.8 years should sort a few out.Too late mate the Americans have changed it , and of course they are always right![]()

Drives me insane just give me a 'kin menu
Shockingly I am all for Apps for the ordering of food and beverages - it is a huge timesaver. Is there anything more anoying than the person in the Starbucks drive-through ordering 8 custom designer drinks over the speaker, then when getting to the pick up window complaining because one of them is not quite right. then waiting there while they make another drink AND HAVING EVERYONE WAIT BEHIND THEM. I would pull into a parking space out of courtesy and have them bring it out, so that the rest of the world can keep on turning, not filled with my own self centred importance!Even worse, having to order your meal from a drop down before you go in too.

what about the ones with really bad body odour in the elevator at work? I mean should you say something - do they know?
Feel the same about halitosis - I mean if it were me Id want someone to quietly take me aside and bring it to my attention so I could do something about it.
That's bonkers. Never heard of that before. What happens if you turn up without pre-ordering?I’ve stopped going to one of my favourite places to eat due to their “ recent order before you arrive policy “
I appreciate it means they it must save a lot of money / waste, as they can cost / prep everything via the pre orders.
However, it just feels all too impersonal and almost conveyor belt like and someone else said, I like to look at the menu and decide what I’m going to have when I sit down.
It sounds mad, but it almost feels like ordering a sit down takeaway.

Also add that going to get a takeaway has been absolutely ruined by Deliveroo/Just Eat etc. taking priority. Go to the local chippy, only person in there and wait 15 minutes for food as 6 Deliveroo orders come and go. Also - and probably makes me sound like an idiot, I realise - but there's something unnerving about being in a Maccas with a load of blokes in Motorbike helmets looking agitated. Going to get a takeaway used to be a nice thing.
not really for this thread, but something that delights me is how Brits love to quibble over such insignificant details
