People saying goals arnt the problem are looking at those stats which largely point to us netting a few earlier on in the season. We have been awful these last few games and this will not change until that Spanish Kernt gets Barkley off the wing and Naismith and eto'o on the bench for proper wingers

What's his race got to do with it?

  1. Winger - Other than Mirallas the rest are crap. Would also make it a priority to get Kev signed up to a longer deal
  1. Keeper - A solid keeper gives the defence more confidence and can really help the way you play. If we get a keeper who is good at distributing it will lead to a lot more chances on the counter.
  2. CB - We need another young lad there, maybe start giving Browning a few more minutes to get more of a picture of what he is like. Any new centre backs need to be comfortable on the ball.
  3. CM - I don't really think we are in drastic need for a player there, McCarthy, Barry, Besic, Osman, Barkley and Gibson (when he isn't injured) can all do a job there. Also the same as the above with Browning but for Ledson. Maybe get rid of Gibson and get another young lad in with room to grow who has an eye for a pass and can unlock defences with through balls.
  4. No10 - We don't need one, we have a perfectly good one in Barkley, we just need to play him there (this would be solved by signing a winger). Also got Naismith, Eto'o and Osman who can do a job there.

1. Yes, agree. Does Mirallas want to stay though longer term with champions on his mind?

2. is Howard just fatigued/tired or has he lost it (aside from injury)

3. Didn't Browning come on in the Merseyside derby earlier this year and do ok? A solid CB is always welcome no matter what, preferably someone who is not > 30 years old.

4. We are still thin there as evidence of what happens when McCarthy goes down, can always improve.

5. Yes, why is he not playing there all the time?

Priority is a decent keeper. Midfield picks itself in my book: Besic, mcCarthy, Barkley. Attack is Lukaku and Miralles and A. N. Other. And defence is Baines, Jags, Stones, Coleman. Plus a decent keeper.
The Taliban man has been at fault too many times. Palace, LFC, Spurs, Hull, spring to my mind immediately.

A good keeper and then another wide attacker.
