I think the Bolton match has helped to once again put us on the map. When I came into work, my rs supporting mates (yes more than one rs, and yes, they have been to a real match), were congratulating Everton on their play.

Even though they only saw the MOTD highlights, they both said the same positive thing about our play, style of football.

It was good to hear, and I suspect that we are continuing to draw admiring glances from all over the country. All we need now is a trophy and we'll easily fill that Kirkby stadium if it ever gets built.

To be fair we destroyed a very average Bolton side, but some of the football we played was special. Its slow, but i really think we are starting to get some decent praise and so is Moyes. It can only be a good thing with regards to attracting investment and securing better advertising deals.

But more so, it makes us more proud to be blues.

Lets see if theyre still saying it on Monday .Apart from the Shabite the other day , weve played well against all the big teams without ever finishing them off .
Like them or not , these are a side , so any victory would be welcomed .
My point being , the RS will revert to type as soon as we get beat .
They cant help themselves .

Thats quite brilliant, I havent heard that for pure beards.

Labaffing.

A win against Villa would be a great boost as the media have been creaming about them all season. We bossed them in the game before Christmas but let in three soft goals to blow the game. This time round we need to put them firmly in their place.

A win tomorrow and the doubters might start to question themselves . Everyone on this board knows this team could really go places . I actually LOVE the fact that Everton are not seen as fashionable but you have to accept that the world is full of people who just want whats currently hot . So winning the F.A Cup considering its worldwide appeal would be a great boost . We beat the RS so really Villa shouldnt be beyond us at all

I prefer flying under the radar a bit - it's more fun to watch the Blues to continue to impress and have the world slowly recognize. Nobody expects the Blues to prevail with no strikers available - Moyes is proving that you can be successful when you have a great back line and the side plays with heart, confidence and courage.
