So where next for Bobby Brown Shoes?
I wouldn't be surprised if he returned to the place where most British football supporters became familiar with him, as a La Liga pundit. We could play Bobby Bingo drinking games. At least you'd be able to understand what he says more than the inaudible Medieta.
Management wise I don't know if he will go to Spain. In previous posts he has had very patient chairmen but they just don't exist over there, nor does the power that a manager can wield here.
I don't think a period in the wilderness will do him any harm. There are a string of managers who have visited a series of clubs as a form of re-apprenticing. I think we all saw the seeds of a decent manager constrained by his own neglect of defensive structures and the basics such as set pieces, even throw ins.
