Just though i would put this up so everyone can have a say on why you support the blues and also how you came about it.

Being from Australia myself I went for Everton because I wanted to support a team and saw Everton as a perfect fit I don't know it was like a perfect attraction(y)

I love supporting them because we have so much culture and trdition like most year in the prem, 4th more successful club and so on.

Being from Australia all people really support the big 4 and thing that Everton is a type of cheese. However when we beat them like we did last month and have that hope of being a good side not just expecting it to happen is so great as well.

Well those are my thoughts what are yours?

dad said so.

best thing is it prepares you for real life, and teaches you to depend on yourself not others: as my nan used to say 'never rely on everton, they will always let you down'. things haven't changed much over the years!!!

everton, a lesson in real life.

It's a family thing .
I was going regular - in the late 60's - , as a 5 year old . Me Nan was a Season Ticket holder , along with all the fella's in our family , but my Nanna was the uny Nanna I knew who WENT to the match .

My arl fella was a crackpot blue . I had no choice .
My lad - who lives 200 miles away - is the same . Ditto my nephew .

As is said , ( we ) " .. are born , not manufactured . "

Though , there is that .

It's not great.
It's a pain in the ass. It's like being in the middle of nowhere and expecting to find a bus stop. You walk, because you have to, not because you want to.

Day i was born i had an Everton shirt hanging up next to my cot in the hospital - so was chosen their and then.

Growing up as a young child i starting liking football and something in my head (dunno why) told me it was Everton i had to support. Then at about 6/7 i just harassed my mum into taking me to a game. I was never urged by family members to be blue, it was just a natural thing - the saying 'born, not manufactured' certainly rang true with me.

Best things about supporting Everton...

  • Going your favourite Ale House by the ground
  • Walking up to the old lady before the match
  • Singing 'Grand Old Team' & 'Oh we hate Bill Shankly' etc
  • Knowing the club you support have a boss fanbase & boss history
  • David Moyes is our manager
  • Arteta plays for us
  • So does Heitinga
  • And Jags
  • We are eternally hopeful
  • We were here first, 1878 n all that
There's loads more, i just love us and i love being an Evertonian

Supporting Everton is [Poor language removed], apart from that sound spell in the eighties it's been mostly disappointments and occasional aceness.

Still love them like.
