When are they just gonna grow up, treat us like adults and tell us what’s actually going on with him?

What was the deal we signed with Spurs? I want to know what the terms were. I think we owe them a fee if we release him, so we’re basically trying to blag that he’s on trial until the next financial year so that the cost doesn’t fall on this year’s PSR. That seems much more plausible to me than him constantly picking up random nonsense injuries in training for 2 years.

He may have relapsed or anything. Not really for Everton to disclose for anything like that

You say anything else and people start to speculate over what id imagine is a very sensitive issue for him and his family. Injury keeps that at bay, and it could well be that
 

Absolutely mental that there were people on here suggesting that he’d be playing in the number 10 for us this year.

The lad is done at the top level.
 
Everton could have saved the club and the lad a load of bother by just saying he was released.

All this nonsense about him getting back playing for us has just fueled anger and resentment and put unwanted pressure on everyone concerned.

I don't buy the injuries personally. Wish the lad well but he's obviously not at the races either mentally or physically and shouldn't be counted as a potential squad member.
