For me it was gutting, plucking and trussing up over 200 turkeys, well paid but at the end of the day but it cut my hands up good style and I stank of bird crap every night going home

I've been a chef on a few christmas days. I could think of better things to be doing.

I help out at a mates farm most years plucking turkeys. I quite enjoy it for some reason. Mainly because I get to stand next to teenage east european girls and smell their hair.

I reckon policing a christmas eve/day must be pretty crappy. Or a nurse in A&E.

At night certainly...............some nurses I know on wards love being in work at Christmas, the atmosphere is brilliant apparently, its a different matter when some rag arse drunk with stab marks comes rolling through the door
