now there's one I like to go to, it's the start of a lot of woodland trust walks, there's a couple of hills and a lake nearby, I think there's some sort of old cotton mill or something with a waterfall behind it, and it's about a mile or two from a place called Llanwyrst, but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called

I've only just looked into this thread and Kurt has a point -racism is not OK in any shape or form.

You couldn't wish for a more beautiful place than Llanwyrst and it's surrounding area.only about 2 hours away.i realise the lack of coke heads roid heads and orange girls would be unappealing to some like

I was lucky enough to have a few overnight stays a few years ago due to work. The sound of them waterfalls in the background while I was in me bed were idyllic
I even dragged the mrs down there for a couple of nights

been proper stared down by a huge horse when I had to cross one of the farmer's fields when I was doing a walk there

I've got a very slight phobia of them so it was a bit unnerving, there was small foal in the same field too

scary stuff, will take a geordie with me next time

The sight of any kind of wildlife can be a bit unsettling for me lol a geordie wouldn't be too out of place mate.it was full of americans and germans when I was there
