Unless the club is run by the supporters, eg BarcelonaEVERY club has it's price...football is a business remember
Unless the club is run by the supporters, eg Barcelona
As much as I love Barkley, if a side ever offered us £80m+ for him I'd drive him there myself. And I think he'll be one of the very best in world football.
All Roberto is saying is that the door is wide open at Everton for Barkley to reach those levels and then further himself - there's no need for him to leave to reach those levels first.
Who knows, he may be so good that he helps drag us into the top four over the next few years and he won't need to leave. But if ever did, he's in the perfect side to aid his development right now so there's no need to attempt Jeffers-esque shortcuts to the top.
Yep
In reality everyone at the club is just trying to squeeze it for cash, using it. Kenwright is the prime example.
... it is a common refrain. We are soon to find whether it has harmony with reality...or possibly it echoes discordant background noise. In fairness to the cynics, there is some inertia to their claims. As is my wont, I will give some benefit of the doubt : I genuinely believe that our club is on the cusp (or in it), of a new era. Maybe, as the saying goes ,"there's a sucker born every minute"Really, can you please elaborate
i've hired a plane and a banner for todays game, anyone wanna chip in?
If your gonna quote lad, try being a bit more balanced like, he also said this in the same article, obviously it doesn't support your agenda like so you left it out
“Ross has got everything to be as good as he wants. He is the perfect fit for Everton and the perfect fit for what we want to do in the future. We want to build the team around him.
“At the moment, he needs to keep playing at Everton and, hopefully, we can use his development to take the club forward so that we don’t have to lose him. That’s the next challenge for us as a football club.”
