what if.....

I remember I'd made it up to about 5am (the window shuts at 7am IIRC), just before I went to sleep it looked that Felli was going, Chebe looked set to go they were saying Lukaku was going to chose to go back to West Brom, the Fernando deal had fell through and all was quite on the McCarthy and Barry deals.

We were still winless at that stage so it was already a little gloomy, I was so scared we had left it to late, we were going to lose two first team regulars one of those who at the time I felt was our best player. I thought we weren't going to be bring anyone in and once again get a lot of money but not spend it.

To my absolute joy I had woken up seen we had signed Lukaku, McCarthy and Barry, we had also got two really good fees for Chebe and Felli.

Felli was not a Martinez type of player, he was never going to do as well under him, I felt we sold him at his peak value and still got more than he was worth, we got all we were going to get out of Victor and got a fee we would have been stupid to turn that down, wouldn't have even got much game time this season.

I feel that two hour block was one of the most important parts of our season and a real turning point, McCarthy, Lukaku and Barry all had massive seasons and all did very well. To also think we still have a lot of the money we made from that day which is really going to help us continue to build and grow for next season.

we would off scored off corners ffs
an those with wifes would still be getting naughty sloppy seconds

What if we had beaten Liverpool and Manchester City instead of taking 1 from 12.

That is how close we where this season.

I would simply just say this to Lukaku if we are trying to persuade him to come here.
