What I want to see for next season....

I know selling Jags is not ideal and he still is a very good defender, I just think that if we have to sell someone to bring in other players, then he is the most expendable (not counting selling off a bunch of our bench players with not much value).

Most of what I read was that Rodwell's future position was going to be at CB. I think right now with his form this season (even before the injuries) he is our third best DM. Fellaini is obviously better and I think Gibson was better this year and you can't argue the results with him on the field. If you have all three playing at once in the midfield I think it strangles off any creativity from the center of the field.

I know this was a lost season for Coleman but whenever he was put at RB or forced to cover for the RB his defense always left me nervous and his tackling is far from a sure thing.

If the mods want to change the thread title feel free or is that something I need to do?

Just because players (Jagielka) aren't in the starting lineup at the moment doesn't mean we need to sell them immediately. Positions need competition and if injuries occur we're f***ed, obviously.

I bet mine have been said to death already but here it goes:

1) a start to the season which doesn't make me feel suicidal.
2) performances against the RS that don't make me feel suicidal.
3) read 1 and 2 again.

We do need a rb, Arne friedrich would be good, plays for Germany and free agent as far as I know, but he's 32
