1. Don't sell Fellaini or Baines. Of course no one wants this but I would rather sell other parts unless one of them asks out. Fellaini is our best player and Baines also is fantastic at a position which is nearly impossible to replace with an equal amount of talent.

2. Play Fellaini at AM. What he brings is essential for how we attack. Since Moyes prefers to play a lone striker (thank god we finally found a decent one), Fellaini's control and hold up play gives us a lot more options for overlapping runs from our wingers. Also since we have been so reliant in the past to score on crosses having Fellaini near the goal is a much bigger plus and takes better advantage of Baines' best ability. Finally, his defense and ability to close down on defenders and midfielders makes the opposing team's outlet passes more difficult.

3. Sell Jagielka. He still has value (Arsenal still needs CBs) and when he was out I thought Heitinga and Distin like a better combination. While the transfer rumors may have been distracting I don't think he looked that great this season. I would rather sell him if we need to make some money, especially if it means keeping Baines.

4. Sign Distin to a new deal. He is old and he won't be in demand, but he can still play and he would be cheap. He would also be good insurance for next on the list.

5. Groom Rodwell for CB. We have Fellaini and Gibson in the middle and I think moving Rodwell to CB (which he has the skill set for) would help the club put the best players on the pitch.

6. Sign a RB. This is the position of greatest need for us in my opinion. Neville and Hibbert are serviceable and their leadership and versatility would still be needed but they are on the downside of their career and if we added someone with pace and a better crossing ability our attack wouldn't be as tilted to the left side.

7. I'm not going to guess about signing specific players since I have no clue Moyes' budget, but I would love to have any of Dempsey, Pienaar or Donovan. I think Dempsey will be too expensive and he'd rather try to go for someone already guaranteeed for the CL next year. If Tottenham sell Modric and/or make the CL they will need the depth and I think they'll keep Pienaar. I think Donovan would be most likely and would love to come over but, that is all in the MLS' hands and they could jack up the price unreasonably high.

8. Slowly bring Barkley on as the offensive center midfield. I Towards the end of the season we had Gibson and Osman behind Fellaini and I would look to see if Ross could eventually take over for Osman.

9. Cahill is done as a starter. I know Moyes has his favorites but Cahill needs to be only an option off of he bench or for cup fixtures.

Thoughts....

Nothing too ridiculous written. Didn't say anything that hasn't been said before either.

But... if Hibbert plays like he did for the last 3 months next season, I wouldn't bother signing a RB! We already have three players that can play there and I personally wouldn't want to see us spending transfer money on that position. I don't think, right now, RB it is the key difference between mid-table at top-4 (not with the players we have anyway). Coleman could end up doing a job there.

we need to start actually playing coleman at right back, we've been saying thats where he'll play eventually for some time now. I think he's getting old enough to figure out a position

for me pienaar is a must sign, he already works well with the squad so its not much of a gamble, and he really inspires the rest of them to play at their best. if we can't sign a player that has been such a revelation for us, we simply have no ambition

we need cover for the striker position. I prefer anichebe to play wing, but I don't trust straq by himself to play as cover for jelavic. we also need another good striking option to give us the potential for a 442, if we send out the 451 game in game out, we'll get predictable

I would like to see a foof at some point. It's been two months and I'm fapping at least twice a day ffs.

I would move Jelivic to Center Mid and bring in Duffy as a forward

I would very much like to see Jagielka given a chance in a support striker's role. Has no one thought this before? I think he'd work well as a link up man with Jelavic. A bit out there I know but I reckon it's a dimension we've been missing of late.

I don't like this idea.

Mainly because Baines is a left back.

Me neither. Baines does all his good work on the overlap. You push him further up field and he will probably have a man up his ass most of the time. I know Bale made a smooth transition into midfield but he has a different skill set to Baines. Big NO for me.

I would move Baines into midfield and introduce Bidwell at left back

I don't actually have a clue what Bidwell's like, I just hear people saying that him and Garbutt should be slowly moved in at left back. Anybody ITK on whether he's boss?

I think considering he has no premier league experience and only played one game against BATE Borisov, it's a bit over the top to say he should be introduced at left back, replacing arguably the best left back in the league. If anything, I'd prefer Gueye to be introduced into left mid and Baines kept where he is, assuming that we don't sign Pienaar.

Sell Jagielka? No no no no no no. He's one of the best defenders in the league.

I've got a better idea. DON'T sell Jagielka.
