WHAT HAS SHOCKED YOU THE MOST AS AN EVERTONIAN?

The tactics moyes made us play after going one up against "them" in the a cup semi final were a complete disgrace and shocked me that any self respecting manager would employ a back to the wall tactic against a beaten team.

Gary Speed for me too.

However, Big Dunc being sold to Newcastle, and hearing he was in tears. Was in a daze for ages over that one, I was a teenager at the time.

Letting magaye gueye leave on a free, this was gonna be his season im telling you

And joking aside, did they ever find out why speed hung himself?

Has to be last years disaster at Anfield, i don't normally leave before the final whistle, to be back in the house before the game has even ended is something i never even thought would be possible.
Wigan and Tranmere in the cups, also Moyes team selection at Anfield when he rested players for the coming cup game was a stomach turner.

If we're talking results, then the 5-1 beasting against Dinamo Bucharest.... just unforgivable.

I know it's only one result but that just had me rattled - even losing at home to newly promoted Wigan a couple of weeks later had only a fraction of the impact the Bucharest result did.

To say I was visibly distraught was an understatement.

The 7-0 defeat at Highbury was distressing, but still nowhere near as bad as I understood that with 4th place wrapped up the players would take their foot off the gas a bit.

Another thing that has shocked me is how good the RS record at Goodison became at the turn of the millennium, whereas before they never did particularly well. Just three more wins at ours and they will have won more Goodison derbies than US - FFS!

Duncan Ferguson being sold when we played Leeds United on a Monday night

And Tim Howard scoring against Bolton Wanderers

We played Newcastle - 23rd November 1998, Ball penalty won it. It was also our first home win that season!
