the only way i'd accept this points deductions is if both Chels and City get punished WAYYY harder. Honestly, corrupt PL or not, we have been daft with our dealings and had it coming. But the consequences are only justified if those two get harsher penalties. Huge difference between having a stupid board and one that is actively scheming to skirt the rules. If they both survive but we are the only ones to get punished this season then by all means, raise hell.

Just looked at the "Liverpool Echo" homepage.....

This is a massive disgusting disgrace, yet we are the 6th highest story, imagine the kopshoites even getting one fan a bit upset at a home game because he bought a dodgy ticket, bang it's top of the tree.

A local paper that pisses on 50+% of its readership, should be leading with it, don't buy the echo Tory Kopite lovefest
...and apparently we were lead on BBC news, bumping wars where thousands are being slaughtered.

I think the appeal is a waste of time. Absolutely necessary given the injustice of it all but once a little golf club has punished you via a tinpot committee you're goosed and appealing to their mates jn a different room is hardly likely to go down well.

But sod them. We'll be fine on the pitch and it'll hopefully unite the fans.

At the moment, with emotions running high it ‘feels‘ like this is most likely timeline:
Everton get sued for hundreds of millions by 4/5 other clubs.
Onana, Pickford and Branthwaite are all sold at the end of the January transfer window for less than their market valve.
777 get rejected by the PL for being unsuitable owners.
Farad goes bankrupt.
After a valiant fight Everton get relegated on the final day of the season after a string of awful VAR decisions / bad refereeing decisions.
Everton fans stage protest against PL.
Everton go into administration.
Media interview with crying 11 year old Everton fan. Picture is front page news.
PL come to ‘an arrangement’ with Man City. They are heavily fined, but there is no points deduction or stripping of titles / cups. Sheikh Mansour accepts fine and gives an undisclosed sum to several charity. Pep signs a new deal and they go on to win the champions league to complete another treble.
PL release a statement that Chelsea have followed all PL rules and have no case to answer.
Christmas Day 2024 - Football league announce that Everton have been given an unprecedented 25 points deduction and heavy fine for going into administration.
Everton release a final statement that they have gone into liquidation.

I know there's a no bad language rule on this site, Sky have an aversion to broadcasting that for obvious reasons . But what if as a form of protest for the 1st ten minutes immediately after kick off the entire ground as one sings "F*** the premier League" , maybe do the last ten minutes as well. It's not something I'd imagine would be detrimental to the players and would at least create some embarrassment to the broadcast media.

Hate to add to your woes but we also have to file last year's accounts by the 31st of December. If we've somehow managed to screw the figures on them, the league have got three months to examine and then hand out a punishment.
The current punishment being 10 points as we know.

We and our “famous celeb blues” to massively hit social media with the overly harsh punishment and keep putting pressure on the Premier League in the UK and around the league. Bad publicity really affects them and highlights that they are seen as hurting the fans - a directive they were supposed to be protecting us from. Spam your media, your high profile contacts, celebs, etc. This needs to be relentless.

…base a relentless protest around ‘Corrupt PL’. 10th minute of every match, get the ‘corrupt’ flags out.
Give it a few games and we'll be threatened with more punishment by the Premier league goons for anti social behaviour and bringing the game into disrepute. The club is currently pretty much rudderless so they have us over the proverbial barrel.

They’ve built an appeal reduction into the tally. Thats one of the reasons it’s so high.

We’d be crazy not to appeal.

How much are we going to have to pay in compensation?
If they are asking for money as well they can k'off. We continue to play we have been doing and we'll be out the shizzle and mid tableish by February. If anything the bear pit will be back which we as fans are as guilty off.

Flares out
Prematch atmosphere again with more than ever passion.
