When I was a kid, 1968, no names on shirts back then. I just wanted a shirt with number 8 on it - ended up with a blank home shirt. Finally caved in last year and got a home shirt. After much debate, I had them put my surname on it, as I am pretty sure I will be an Evertonian until the day I die. Unlike the restless nomads that wander in and out of our club. Incidentally, I don't bother much with wearing it, as it reminds me too much of last season
