Was in Tescos a couple of days ago and Soreen have brought out some new variants : chocolate, banana and a Christmas spice one. Special offer 50 pence. Got the chocolate and Christmas ones and will try the choccy this week. Have made malt loaf before. Size of a small loaf so the slices don't shrink as you cut them. Takes a while to cook though.

My wife recently bought a rather insipid yellow imitation. Not for me. Proper dark brown or it's not the real deal.

Anzac biscuits, fig rolls and a cup of tea.
Anzac biscuits originally made for the Anzac troops on the long journey to Europe. Contains rolled oats, coconut and golden syrup. Very nice they are to.

Some folks decided to recreate a 17th century meal on a ship, which consists of saltbeef, ship cracker, peas, and beer. Doesn't look to tasty, but apparently not as bad for you as it seems. Good quick read.
