What Did You Last Eat Thread

Made some homemade bounty bars, well actually I shaped them into small round shapes, like a chunky peppermint creme. Very easy to do, I halved the recipe ingredients and got 12. Tastes just like a bounty ; will probably substitute icing sugar for the caster sugar next time. Have had two, very moreish.

I'm not a fan of coconut, but I do love Bounty Bars. Don't think I could manage a giant one like this, though :D

You won't be disappointed ; for the coating I used two bars of cheap chocolate from Aldi instead of the 70% bars which are increasingly expensive, tastes great. I've left them in fridge to give that nice crack.

They do sound good. Giving the ice cream recipe you shared the other day a go at the weekend! Mixed forest fruit and orange one I think.

Mixed shawarma meal
Lamb shawarma meal * hers *
Roast chicken meal
Aubergine dip
2 cans

33 quid...Well worth it.

Mate honestly the meat was absolutely top tier, dunno what they seasoned it with but it was singing.
3 mains, a dip, 2 pepsi's?

33 pound notes. hmmm.

A place I liked in Manchester that'd been there 30 years and was a student staple has gone, the energy crisis finished them. skewer chicken, skewer lamb, fresh garlic naan, salad, homemade fire sauce. £4. Once the price started rising the students found the pizza place could cope with the costs and not pass em on so they went there and the old man lost out. Loved that place. I'd eat one in store, and bring at least one home.

We aren't getting our old world and comforts back are we.
