It's surprising how tasty they are for such a thin biscuit. I'm going to try the hard stuff this week : Eccles cakes.They are indeed, especially as you get to the end of the chewing stage and the flavour of the fruit comes out…….
Sounds terrific. My wife made homemade sausage, feta and spinach rolls, so I had one of those with rice and some veg left over from yesterday's tea.Home made pork and shrimp steamed Gyoza with dipping sauces. Ace.
I used to make my own wrappers and it was FFFIN pain. Found them in a freezer shop along with the sesame oil etc. It was so easy. I made 50 and froze a load. Will be doing the same next week cos I bought so many wrappers lolSounds terrific. The eldest then came in with a few salt and pepper siu mai, which means all in all I've had a splending tea tonight.
