I've enjoyed the non stress, not worrying about how other teams get on, so many less petty arguments and tit for tat on social media. Footy's like a cloud sometimes rather than something to look forward to if you get sucked into it too much.
The only thing I am missing is meeting up with my chums before and after the game.
For me, the season finished in early January when the RS youth team knocked us out the cup.
And sadly seasons ending in January have become the norm for us
So I was already focusing on next season even before the football was metaphorically prorogued.
