Ye I believe he recently left. Haven't gotten into their new stuff but Bloc Party were a revelation when they came out

Funnily enough, that was one of the tracks I liked the least. And yeah, very hit and miss, the first disc (mostly their updates) are pretty pointless I thought, too close to the originals and a bit irritating with some of the new sonics.
The second disc with the remixes by others I thought was more interesting, but generally I'd have liked to have seen some of their more obscure tracks get a dusting off.
