ha...bit of synchronicity, i was shopping for bargain-vinyl yesterday and this album cropped up for about €5. i politely declined when hearing the actual musik, mind lol
instead, took some more notes out me wallet to secure one of the great works of the early Seattle Grunge-scene on ye olde black plastic, one of the original pressings with the unlicensed Sonic Youth sample intact (here also from 25:20):
i like lots of eccentric stuff, maybe i should give Tom a chance.i started off with Franks Wild Years (1987) then onto Rain Dogs and then mostly the rest. i s`pose you could say Tom Waits is a bit of an acquired taste as in, its not really run of the mill stuff but he`s easier to get into than Captain Beefheart with whom he usually gets linked to because of their voices. have a listen to The Black Rider(1993) if you get the chance. his music will grow on you and you won`t be dissapointed. btw. Franks wild years might be a good omen for this season![]()

His lad, Baxter.
I really like his stuff. A lot darker than his dad stuff though.
Thanks for that - loved it.

They are well good.Love those mate, was meant to see them at a 2000 Trees earlier this month but they had to pull out last minute, her vocals remind me so much of Larissa from Venom Prison
They are well good.
I feel like we listen to the same music podcasts...
