What are you currently listening to?

Guess that's what happens when you grow up constantly listening to music. It's weird because it changes loads.

Great Tool though, the music they make is just amazingly put together.
Same tbf, but most of my friend/family circles have involved either rock and heavy metal or dubstep/hard techno...

Tool are amazing in many senses - they put so many amazing things and methods in their music (such as irregular timings and the likes), but then you look at Lateralus (below), and the lyrics are amazingly put in there. In fact, mathematically put in there - they're in the order of the Fibonacci sequence.
"Black, (1)
Then, (1)
White are, (2)
All I see..." (3) etc.

Ah, I grew up around groups like The Smiths, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Joy Divison and then all the mad electro stuff like Underworld, The Prodigy and all other stuff I can't be bothered to remember. Then I just enjoy finding new music. Not many of my friends listen to the main bulk of the stuff I listen to like SBTRKT, Disclosure, 90's rap like NWA, Ice Cube, DJ Quik, Biggie, Pac. A few listen to the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club etc. Nobody I know has listened to James Blake which I find weird.

I'll stop going on what about what I and others listen to now haha.

Yeah, Tool are genius. Have so much respect for musicians who clearly structure their stuff in ways not many others do and have the music and lyrics to back it up.
