Couldn't see another thread to put this but got tickets to see Peter Hook in Sydney next July. Quite excited for this.

Yeah 31st October. There's a few dropping that day that I'm looking forward to. Florence and the Machine's latest plus a debut from little known female fronted Scottish indie band called Swim School who are so 80s coded and I've really enjoyed the lead singles. There's also the debut from Luvcat, more of a Indie pop sound, but she's a scouser and I always like to see local acts do well. She's dropped that many singles from it already though so I'm not sure just how much actual new music there is.
Enjoy The Charlatans tonight. I'm looking forward to the show.

It's a great 25min album/EP. There was a thread on twitter saying how a lot of the newish shoegaze stuff from the US isn't great, and then someone listed a load of artists from the middle East and some are pretty good
