Ambient, spacerock, slowcore, shoegazy (whateverthefeck label) band out of Canada I used to listen to back in the day. Ran in to this CD while I was rummaging the archives...memory-jolter.

Lana del Rey has announced a new album and this is the lead single from it. There is something so calming about her voice. I'm not normally one for ballads but for her I make an exception.

Marina is somebody else with a new album being released and she's reinvented herself as a blond pop Queen. I much prefer her rock era, but I have to say she's looking fantastic given all her health problems. Welcome back marina

Also have been to see Paul Simon, spent much of it trying to get the ex to shout out Slayer the way we once saw someone bring the house down at another metal concert. She wouldn't do it because her parents were right next to her. Pity. It's not a good show unless someone yells "Slayer!" at the end of Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Love Paul Simon's work, Graceland is foul start to finish, in case you couldn't tell. I just don't take much seriously, these days.
