Damn! I missed that!
Saw Led Zep at the Stadium just after LZIII came out. I can remember they opened with the Immigrant Song. I left before the end, as it became a case of Plant screaming a couple of verses, then a Jimmy Page 10-minute guitar solo, every song.
Saw an incredible band supporting Traffic at the Stadium: Seatrain. They absolutely blew Traffic away. Winwood was good, but the rest were off their faces.
Saw a band called 'Peace at the Stadium', supporting Mott the Hoople. 'Peace was a band formed by Paul Rodgers during one of the periods when Paul Kossoff was on a different planet due to his drug intake. Rodgers was simply the best singer I have ever seen live.
Mott the Hoople - what can I say. Simply the best band I've ever seen for intensity, great playing, and a great time. And Ian Hunter - wow!
