Couldn't get into Husker Du, but quite liked this.

this song is one of the most important songs in musical history.
It not only brought together about three genres into one, it was the song that crashed out barriers and resurrected 'youth spirit' and the idea of protest after years of Reagan and Thatcher and terrible mainstream pop music.

It's a good song - not sure it's one of the most important in musical history.

Since we are talking late '80's early 90's (Husker Du, Nirvana) I thought the Pixies were a brilliant band.

Also, Nirvana were doing it through Universal so they weren't exactly scrimping (and I like Nirvana before I get attacked)

I kept seeing the name of this group and thought are they local to me as I live not far from New Road , surprised to see they from Cambridgeshire and got their name by piclking a random name on Wiki

I assumed the name had some kind of deep symbolic meaning only to discover Isaac Wood randomly found it on Wiki
