The one that made it (Apple; she dropped the Pumpkin carrying them out to the car; but I didn't say that...Corningware AOTS and a nice pumpkin poo pile) was great. Due to scarcity, everyone else loved it, too...heh. It really was kind of a blessing, since everyone was on the typical turkey and mash bloat train, so the slices were obviously smaller and nobody exploded.

@LinekersLegs Unrelated sorta', but your question brought back memories of the day...don't know if you do card games at all (tradition for us on Thanksgiving, to close the evening out) but, if you do...'Phase 10' is a cracker; we all played it for the first time that night. Can turn in to a marathon though if you have a decent amount of players, so beware.

Never tried it but do like card games especially for family gatherings, my late FIL was unbeatable at Solo Whist before his stroke. Thanks for the recommendation, will check it out.


Edit - looks fun, now been added to my wishlist so might end up under the Christmas tree rather than the voodoo doll!
