what about drenthe?

I think it's obvious why he didn't start yesterday. In the main Donovan and Billy did a good job at tracking back helping out the Full backs away at a very dangerous spurs team. I'm sure the plan would of been to keep us in the game and un leash drenthe last 30 mins or so to get something out the game.

Certain away games I think that would be the right choice. Not all... But the top 2 or 3 teams away I think it's the right choice.

I think people forget that drenthe started out as a left back, we havn't seen enough of him to make a proper judgement on his defensive game

Now days everybody wanna talk like they got something to say but nothing comes out when they move their lips just a bunch of jibberish and mother****ers act coz they forgot about Drenthe.

I see Bily is being scapegoated yet again..

I know he struggles like [Poor language removed] sometimes, but let's face it, there are often at least a couple of players that play worse than him on a matchday, and those players are the real problem. So let's have some perspective.

were there any last night though?

Drenthe's been suffering from a virus. Perhaps that why he didn't start? Maybe he's not 100% fit?

Just a thought like.

and it's not just about bily, it's the fact that moyes keeps playing him in the wrong position when we have a better option on the left

Saha & Cahill, unsurprisingly. Victor also huffed and puffed all game as well before he was withdrawn. Fellaini at a bit more of a stretch.. he didn't do any more than Bily did really.

Yeh Bily didn't play that bad but 'he wasn't total shoite' is the best your ever gett out of him. You can say others played badly, fine then compare his duties as a LW/LM with what he actually did. Compare him with our RW/RM Donovan and what he did e.g. running at players, making space for himself, tracking back, working hard every minute he's on the pitch. Yeh he made mistakes but he has the work ethic, creative spark and dedication to do well. DOES BILY POSSES THESE THINGS????

I'm not the biggest fan of Drenthe myself but I'd start him ahead of Bily in any area of the pitch if he was fit. Drenthe can create more in ten minutes than Bily can in a year and should have had longer on the pitch than he did yesterday.
