Seriously. This is the best Everton side I have seen in my life.

I have never been more ambitious and proud.

Onwards and upwards.

Champions 2012. You heard it here first.

It is Ghost. I've only been going since 88 and in my opinion this is without a doubt the best side we have ever had.

Bit of luck, few more Arteta and Cahill type signings, few of the youth lads to fulfill their promise... and we will be as equipped as any.

Ferguson wont be at Utd for much longer. The golden generation of is on its way out.

Arsenals impact will die out slowly when Wenger leaves in the next 2 or 3 years.

Roman will lose interest in his toy when they win the Champions League.

Vaughan will beat Dixies record to secure the league.

It is a great time to be a Toffee at the moment. I first went to see the boys in 1988 so this is by far the best Everton team I can recall, although the Kanchelskis side had promise, this one has a much firmer foundation.

The good times are a coming! But, when they do arrive I hope the club and us (its supporters and followers) dont become arrogant and assuming, like so many of the other supporters that belong to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manure and the [Poor language removed]. I almost enjoy being outside of the top four, simply because I cant stand the likes of Wenger, Ferguson, Benitez et al playing mind games and publicly slagging each others teams off.

But secretly I think its the best Everton side since 85-87, yet you can't convince the miserable pricks at TW that.

You're dead right and in many ways the fact that we are holding our own against the moneybags teams says to me that the achievements we are witnessing today are even greater by comparison to the 85/87 era.
If we can keep the momentum going the next few seasons will be even better.

We're going places.

I was just old enough to remebr the 80s but didnt appreciate them at the time, were in great shape. Just an idea of how far we come remember we finished in the bottom four with the lowest points total ever! I think it was 36 point and weve that now at the moment!

Still i rember even after that season Moyes made a comment about the following season and said "If Im still here" I nearly s**t myself, i always thought hed do the job hes doing now!
