So today we hear that Everton are to go to the Home Office on a wing and a prayer for a work permit for Banega.. all for a season long loan signing!

Dunne to return to Goodison! Bloody Richard Dunne! No!

Robert Huth now favoured over Senderos..???

and Moyes fast going from looking principled to being in denial around the Lescott story..

really can't get my head around why we end up in this desperate and embarrassing situation year after year.. no wonder the team are looking demoralised with this comedy of errors going on.

It happens because we are Everton Footbal Club . It's what we do .
Even , perhaps especially , when we do well , the old pistol comes out and a foot is chosen .

As for the lad , anything , right now would be of asistance , though I admit the financial situation is more than troubling ..

I was skeptical that we'd get Senderos. Arsenal has zero depth at CB.

Huth is just awful. I'd rather have a cardboard cutout of Lescott. If we are so desperate for a CB why don't we just see what Wigan would want for Bramble (10M?) and if the price is reasonable just sell Lescott. Bramble might be better than Lescott right now.

Maybe we wait so long b/c we think we can get teams who get desperate to get a player off the books. That being said Fellani probably added 5M to his transfer fee w/ his performance against Liverpool in the C-league.

Walk my shoes, just to see
What it's like, to be me
I'll be you, let's trade shoes
Just to see what I'd be like to
Feel your pain, you feel mine
Go inside each other's mind
Just to see what we find
Look at [Poor language removed] through each other's eyes

Never Titus Bramble! he was rubbish at newcastle and average at Wigan.
The thing with senderos is simple, we have made an offer and unless someone comes in with a better one we will get him on deadline day.
He only has a year left on his contract so arsenal would rather sell than let him go fro free next year.

Banega - good player, if we can get him in it will be a real coup for Moyes. I've just read a comment by a red fan on the Echo website saying he'll be gutted if we sign him.

Dunne's name has only been linked with us by City sources. I've seen no suggestion of any interest from Everton sources.

Huth - I agree would be a backwards move.

He's quality now (I like Hagenland better but he's not going anywhere). NUFC has proven its the club that makes you awful not the player. He was quality before he went NUFC and quality after leaving them.

He completely shut down Villa's forwards on Saturday. Plus their policy under Bruce (not sure if its still Wigans policy) that if the price is decent they won't stand in the way of a player moving on to a bigger club. Bramble beat out Valencia for Wigan's player of the year last season and they some quality players last year. He'd be a good complement w/ Jags.

Aye we do like to aim for the foot every summer and we're so good at it too.

As for the money side of things its not looking good is it really.
