Love the addition of 'London', that's pretty desperate. At least we never had ' Everton - it's in Liverpool yenno'.

Though I still prefer this pared back look. Arsenal, Spurs, Fulham etc. So simple to reproduce, so recognisable. 1878 ffs, who cares?!

Interested to hear why its very important. Every club has a formation date, ours is no more important than anyone elses.

Likewise the motto - by all means have it as a footer on EFC notepaper, and on hoardings around the ground, but it really doesn't need to be on the shirt badge.

We were there at the start of league football... And been there ever since... That's worth remembering.
We helped pave the way for this nonsense we call premier league football. We're steeped in tradition, old as hell, a massive history behind us, and its all summed up with just 4 digits - 1878.

What's bad about it?
