It had to have hit his hand for the ball to hit the deck so close to the line after hitting the post half way up, it was the only explanation.

Couldn't blame the officials on the pitch for not seeing it. At the time I wondered if it came off his hand but even after replays I dismissed it as well.

Can ask VAR why they didnt check it fully though. No appeals from players may not have flagged it up and the game may have already restarted.

They both also missed the fact that Boden was offside when they took the shot that hit the post. Sky commentators continued to talk as if it would have been a goal if Boden had bundled it in.

Yeah sent off and penalty, I didn't notice it, but surely King must have seen it, did he not even appeal ?
