We have a good balance this year, after all it is the Birmingham's and Bury's of the world which we end up frustrating ourselves against the most.

EFC in doing something right shocker.

Awesome.

2 decent teams this year instead of just 1.

And hopefully we'll better prepare for those. Last year we were shocking against Wolfsburg, and I know it's not important to win as it's a friendly, but getting battered for the whole game and never managing to do anything useful yourself can't be construed as productive.
 
I'll be going, any other lids going? Looking at flights now, ne 1 got ne plans for it?
 
I hope this game goes better than our Wolfsburg outing last season, or the Fenerbache game in Istanbul for that matter!

2 quality sides to play though, can not complain there. Hopefully get our heads into the game better.

This. And not only is it the right mix it's in the right order. It will be more challenging at the start than people give credit IMO, but it builds to the two best teams. Smart planning and we even make revenue in the U.S. Good.
 
Remember people as well,friendlys are exactly that A Friendly to help the players get fit etc,i want a win no matter what type of game it is as much as the next person,its not a sign if we lose to whoever [if we do] that we are going to have a bad season etc or for some one to make a 20 page thread of a rant saying its because we signed no one [if we havent at that time],its moyes fault,kenwright's fault etc,the same that if we win every game it doesnt mean we will do great,its on the day how we play etc as i think were we go who we play in the summer has no effect on how we start or were we end up in the league,you see some players 6months into the season moaning about things that happened during the summer etc:P anyway cant wait till the season starts,its getting ever closer very slowly
