Everton manager David Moyes has rubbished suggestions that the club will cash in on star midfielder Mikel Arteta during the transfer window.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Spanish star as they try to fill the gap created by captain Cesc Fabregas' injury lay-off.
But Moyes insists he does not want to sell off his star names and said: "I have no intentions of selling anybody. Definitely not. Why not? Because there's nobody I'd like to sell.
"We read today that Arsenal don't have any money to spend in January. So it depends on what you read, and who things are written by."
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has also distanced himself from reports linking him with Arteta and said: "Mikel Arteta is a very good player but we have not made any enquiry about him at all."
