I remember back in the day when it was great to be at the Vetch Field arena, none other than big Bob Latchford was on a great run as Swansea finished about 5th place in the top flight in either 81 or 82.

that was short lived however, as the south wales side went on a steep decline after, the culmination being seeing Jan Molby as manager and having their city portrayed in a movie as the 'Welsh Trainspotting'

I would like to see either in the premier league next season, hell, both if possible but thats too much to ask, there could well be a meeting of the two in the end of season play offs.

something has to give.

No love lost between those two sides, that would be some game!

I cant' even look at old Everton results for some reason, it';s been blocked 'as restricted access' by my new network usb, WTF is that all about? :dodgy:

I was just curious how we fared against Swans back in the early 1980s when they were actually a good side and Latchford was doing a job after moving South, I'll have a look when I'm out next time.

Cardiff haven't been top flight for as long as I can remember, and I can't remember the last time we played them, it must have been a cup match at some stage, but damned if I can recall it.
