Who gives a toss about FIFA rankings were't Switzerland ranked one of the top counties just a year or two ago ? England would beat Wales easily we'd have put 4 or 5 past a poor side like Cyprus not struggle to a 0-1 win

Hats off to them - the current Wales side/squad have a real togetherness that compliments the genuine quality amongst their ranks. I reckon they'd do England in the Euros next summer if we draw them in the group stage, as they'd consider that as their final and would be wound up to high heaven. I'd prefer to meet them in the knock-out phase, when we might actually have woken up and be really up for it ourselves.

And the above isn't me trying to wind-up Welsh fans - I mean it as a compliment and hope they can can read it in that way. They're currently the strongest side out of the Home Nations, and i genuinely don't want to draw them next summer.

ive been waiting for England to get the same sort of togetherness this welsh team has, since about 96, and the venebales era.

somehow England cant gel. theres no reason why we cant, i think its finding the right manager. at present alan pardew seems to be able to galvanise a squad and get the best out of everyone and bring in the togetherness.

Nah, same with nearly every football team. Bristol City struggle to get 20000, but would take double that to a Wembley match.
