Welcome Charlie Adam

Our set pieces have been rather poor since Adam arrived. We have done well to improve our attacking output from open play, however, and there you could also cut him some slack due to the injuries to key attacking players (thinking of Dwight McNeil in particular here).

I see we have the most goals scored from set pieces, yet since he's been here I don't think we've scored one.

We literally have Leighton Baines on the staff too.

A set piece coach etc, is as pointless as those silly made up Arsenal Set piece routines that look so stupid. Things like been able to keep a ball from a corner and a free kick etc should be a normal thing for a grown up man to be able to do, without been told how to do it  And i will always stick to it

The set piece corner routine is the same over and over. Pack the opposition 6 yard box. Cross to the far post and Tarkowski coming from just inside the penalty area to try head it back across goal.
Similar with free kicks. Lumping it across to the far side for Tarkowski to head back into the area. Generally the delivery is crap and or it's so predictable the opposition easily defend it
