While in Gran Canaria I purchased a combined Everton toe cutting and bottle opener.

Suffice to say there is no way I'm ever using it to open bottles Its just better that way.

86p a litre, we'd pay $1.90. We would usually pay $1.10 to $1.20 a litre normally.

I remember filling up my car for the first time in the States and it was like £15 to fill a 2.6 litre. I fumed at Thatcher right there, on the petrol station forecourt before consoling myself with some quite fantastic Dunkin Donuts.

They're great mate, but my self imposed diet doesn't permit me any more.
