Seriously - are you ever positive?

West Brom an absolutely dire team - to score 2 against a solid defence?

today's matches

I wish we'd use the stragety that Hodgson uses against Arsenal. Every time one of Arse's clamatous back 4 has possession there is someone closing them down instead of yielding 2/3s the pitch like most teams do. I get the feeling that Fulham is going to get the double against them this year.

0-0 in the 29th.

1533: GOAL Middlesbrough 1-0 Liverpool
Oh dear. Stewart Downing delivers the corner, Martin Skrtel misses it and the ball flicks off the hip of Xabi Alonso for a calamitous own goal. That is Boro's first league goal since 10 January.

hrhrhrhrhrhr

Boro up 1-0. Over course Boro-****e matches always end up with the ****e getting some bogus call in the 87th minute so I'm not going to get excited.

As much as I would love to see the Sh**e turned over today i fear it will have a detrimental effect for us on next weeks Qtr final - after watching todays lacklustre affair the last thing we need is a buoyant boro gatecrashing the party next weekend:( (cant believe im saying this  but I would settle for a draw today)
