Weekend food

I've got a lovely bit of beef, potatoes par-boiled, carrots in the pan and yorkshire pudding mix made up. Just off to the pub now for a couple of hours and then returning to an ace Sunday-dinner-on-a-Saturday thing. And lots of wine/beer. Can't wait.

Then tomorrow someone (post-football) is cooking us up a belgian beef and beer stew with some Colcannon type thing. And lots of wine/beer. Can't wait

Great post heats - Got my taste-buds twitching! .....I'm off round to the in-laws tonight, not sure whats for mains yet but I do Know that the Mother-in-law is rustling up a dutch apple pie with loads whipped cream for afters - If you've never had a proper dutch apple pie then you havent lived ....its to die for
