My weekend would be massively enhanced if this was postponed.
Manchester has its own microclimate? With amber warnings of heavy snow in the north west from 6am onwards Sunday here - they must be fairly confident it will happen although they've been wrong plenty of times before
With health and safety usually taken to extremes these days, the Manchester derby is the one probably more in doubt (but just possibly our one too)
Although I noticed some light snow while at work (in Chester) today - Manchester has its own microclimate and is a powerful magnet for bad weather, usually it rains at best.
We haven't had snow for a few years for much of Merseyside despite weather warnings every year, East Lancs nearer the Pennines, Manchester and the moors surrounding it normally get it all
I wouldn't mind it being off as Sam has only been here two minutes not two months. However Anfield hasn't had a snowed off fixture since 2010 so it must be highly unlikely despite these amber warnings. I read they're really meant to be more specific to the greater Manchester area but cover a wider area just for the weather forcasters to cover themselves and claim they're right even if off target slightly.
Forgot about that, could put that film, Escape to Victory on
Especially the white unsHate it when it snows, can't see the dog dirt around the ground,
imagine genuinely thinking its gunna be snowing heavy...View attachment 42701
If that weather forecast is true then there's no chance this game goes ahead. Pitch will be fine but the surrounding areas will be chaos.
I am very comfortable with this outcome.
Not this heavy, sounds pretty bad atm.Manchester has its own microclimate?
How do you work that out Fred.
It hasnt really snowed at all yet - nothing only sleet.I was in the UK this time last year and would have loved it to snowNot this heavy, sounds pretty bad atm.
